Delete Account

You have the right to delete your SnapLivo account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what data is removed, and what is retained for legal compliance.

Send an email to support@snaplivo.in with the subject line "Delete My Account". Please include your registered email address in the message body so we can identify your account. We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation once deletion is complete.

Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:
— Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
— All event memberships and join history
— Face biometric data — all face IDs indexed via AWS Rekognition are permanently deleted from our systems
— Photos and videos uploaded by you (if you are an organizer)
— Face-matched photo records associated with your account
— Subscription and billing preferences
— Push notification tokens and device identifiers
— All in-app activity and usage logs linked to your account

To comply with Indian financial regulations and applicable law, we retain the following data after account deletion:
— Anonymised transaction and payment records (required for tax and accounting compliance, retained for up to 7 years per Indian law)
— Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics (e.g., total event counts) that cannot be traced back to your account

No personally identifiable information is retained beyond what is legally required.

You can remove your biometric face data at any time without deleting your account. In the app, go to Profile → Clear Face Data. This immediately removes all face IDs associated with your account from AWS Rekognition. Your account, photos, and event memberships remain intact.
